The Michigan Nanny Authority is now interviewing for the following positions:

Families across West Michigan are seeking Full-Time and Part-time Nanny/Private Educators for the 2020/2021 school year!

The Nanny/Private Educator will help oversee and supplement remote and virtual in-home learning for children in kindergarten through high school, as well as provide daily care for all the children in the home. They will adhere to the established curriculum provided by the local public or private school systems, which will include children participating in live scheduled learning as well as time-flexible daily work assignments.

An effective Nanny/Parent Educator will help create a productive daily routine around the children’s curricula, create and maintain in-home learning environments for each child, and encourage eager ongoing participation with virtual learning. They will also provide standard nanny care for all children in the home, such as preparing meals and snacks, keeping the children’s rooms and learning areas organized and tidy, helping children complete any household chores, overseeing free play and outside play time, etc.

Private Educators may be hired to work with one family in their home, or they may be hired to oversee a small Education Pod of children (maximum 6) hosted in one family’s home. Hourly rates will range from $18-25/hour for one family, and $20-40/hour for an Education Pod, depending on number of families and children participating. Shifts will be a minimum of 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) but some families are seeking 40-50 hours/week of childcare coverage, so Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available!

Contract lengths can range from a 4 Week Placement, a Trimester/Semester (3-4 month) Placement, for a full School Year Placement.
